I created the page The children abused because I know first hand the turmoil and sadness of child abuse. In the year of 1991 sexual abuse entered our christian home. I was taken unaware by the abuse but I also found out in time, so that it went no further.

People may believe if you are a christian God protects you from all mishaps but it is by no means true. My husband backslid and with a family history of that kind of abuse only made it more final,  we had a long road to hoe.

 In creating  this website it is my hope that those who read it will be helped along with the Holy Spirit ministering to them. You may think it is an impossible hill to climb but you can go through it. I made it and so can you.

One of the most difficult challenges you will face as a parent is forgiving the abuser, especially if the abuser is a relative. If you are a christian you will be mandated to forgive because the word says we must, to be forgiven.

Even if you are not a believer you must forgive to recieve closure in your life. Healing of the soul begins with forgiveness. Christ went to the cross to forgive all of mankind. We must do the same.

I have included this picture of Jesus with the children because I feel it is fitting. Jesus does love the children of the world, no matter the race or creed. When a child is abused it tears at the heart of our creator.

I fail to begin to understand the grace of God. Even though I went through the trial and tribulations that abuse causes the grace of God  still remains a mystery to me. If our Lord will forgive a pedophile, our Lord will forgive all sin.

Why because the blood that was shed on Calvary is to costly. The Father by no means excludes some and includes others. When he gave his son as a sacrifice for our sins He forgave all.

I know there are people who say, " Oh what I have done God will never forgive" But they are mistaken  he will his word says our sins are as far as the east is from the west. Never to be remembered anymore.

So wheter you are a pedophile or a parent of an abused child struggling to forgive the abuser , God is waiting in the wings to forgive you. All you have to do is ask, ask him to come into your life, forgive you of your sins and to live for him. Confess him as your Lord and Savior.

If God is in your life he won't allow you to have more then you can handle. His word is full of promises for us to hold on to. His promises are yea and amen. He will be with his children until the end of time. That is his promise to us.

The world can throw us a curve ball but Christ is there to catch it. One of the books in the bible that was an inspiration to me was Psalms. When we read the Psalms that David wrote out of the turmoil in his life, it lifts you up out of the muck and mire.
